One of the most commonly uttered phrases in modern arboriculture. But what is the right tree? Where is the right place? And how do we determine or judge the ‘rightness’ of either?
This one day workshop – organised jointly by the Forestry Commission and the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum and aimed at the tree care professional and enthusiastic amateur alike – will investigate aspects of contemporary and historical tree design, be it in a residential garden, public park or stately home.
