It's been lovely to see some of you at FOWA coffee mornings and we've been really able to get to know a few of our members.
Some of you have used these mornings as an opportunity to share your thoughts, ideas and concerns, which has been a great start in allowing us to really engage with our membership.
However due to low attendance, we've decided to stop running these coffee mornings and rethink our offer, so that we can meet the needs of as many of our members as possible.
We held our last coffee morning in early January where you had the chance to pick the brains of Anna-Clare, CEO of the Friends, and Mike, our Chair of Trustees. We hope you all enjoyed this chance to engage with the people who ultimately steer the direction of our charity. Special thanks go to Margaret Headen, a Friends of Westonbirt trustee, who has played a key part in organising all of these coffee mornings.
Going forward we’re working on various new ideas to help us get to know our members, and provide you with new and exciting opportunities to engage with the arboretum. So be sure to look out for new exclusive events for our members. Watch this space!
Run for our trees!
Participating in the Westonbirt 10k on behalf of the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum is a great way to help care for this special place.
