No need to walk very far today as, WOW, I have just seen a female Blackcap feeding a youngster from my office window. A good sign, as I thought most were migrants but this one obviously stayed over winter and/or came here to breed. A little Willow Warbler is flitting through the bush outside my window too and a baby Dunnock want's to come in - he'll learn! Outside, on the wires above the offices, we now have about a dozen Swallows waiting to be fed and learning how to skim around. Fabulous to see but all too soon they will be off back to South Africa - behaps the Voovoozellas call them home!!
