Travelling by car
The arboretum is situated on the A433, just over 3 miles south of Tetbury and 10.5 miles north from junction 18 on the M4. Westonbirt Arboretum is only 12 miles south of Stroud, 24 miles north-east of Bristol, and 22 miles north of Bath.
Visitors to the arboretum can enjoy FREE parking.

Using public transport
There's a bus stop right outside the entrance to the arboretum but please bear in mind that it's a 5 minute walk from the bus stop to the main entrance and facilities.
The nearest train station is Stroud where nearby there are buses which run a service with Westonbirt Arboretum en route.
Westonbirt Arboretum is open from 9:00am until 5:00pm every day except Christmas day.
The last entry is 4:00pm from December to February inclusive and 4:30pm between March and November inclusive.
The Welcome Building's information desk is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Tips for your visit
Pick up a free map of the arboretum as you arrive from the Welcome Building or print out a map before you arrive.
Enjoy a delicious selection of hot and cold snacks and refreshments at the Westonbirt Restaurant.
Spend a few minutes browsing the lovely Westonbirt Shop which stocks a large range of foodie treats, toys and books, as well as homeware and gifts.
