Terms and conditions for fundraising in the Westonbirt 10k
Signing up to fundraise for Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum (charity number 293190) means there is no registration fee. Instead you agree to raise a minimum of £90 in sponsorship money (exclusive of Gift Aid) of which all will go to support the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum charity.
A minimum of £65 of your sponsorship money must be paid to Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum prior to the event, and the remaining sponsorship must be paid no later than two months after the event.
The Westonbirt 10k 2018 T-shirt is exclusive to Westonbirt 10k fundraisers. This can be collected on the day of the event, assuming at least £65 of the £90 minimum sponsorship has been paid.
You must be 16 or over to raise money for Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum, and if you are under 18, permission in writing must be given by a parent or guardian.
We will only use your contact information to get in touch about the Westonbirt 10k. You will not be contacted with any other information from the charity unless you are already a member. You will receive a series of emails with information, offers and tips relating to the event, but you can opt-out of these at any time by clicking ‘unsubscribe’.
We will keep your email address on file to let you know about the Westonbirt 10k in the following year, unless you specifically ask us not to, which you can do by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 0300 067 3303.
By signing up you are agreeing to us sharing your details with the Forestry Commission and their third party event organiser. This is purely for the purposes of the Westonbirt 10k. The Forestry Commission may contact you with details of the event. The third party will use your details to setup a race number and timing chip that allows you to track your race time.
If you are unable to take part in the event, the charity requires you to make a donation of £20 to cover costs. If you have already raised funds but are unable to take part, it is your responsibility to contact the donors and confirm that they are still happy for their donation to go to the charity.
If due to unforeseen circumstances the Westonbirt 10k has to be cancelled by the Forestry Commission and is not rescheduled, the charity will go about refunding all donations. If the event is rescheduled and you are unable to take part, it is your responsibility to contact donors and confirm if they are still happy for their donation to go to the charity.
