As the year draws to a close and the Arboretum is firmly settled into the winter months, we want to thank you for your continued support. Your membership does more than you might realise. It is not only about the pleasure of visiting Westonbirt, but about everything your support makes possible, long after you leave.

This year, thanks to you and the collective generosity of our members and supporters, Westonbirt has grown in more ways than one. Visitors of all ages have explored new opportunities for wellbeing and learning across the landscape, while vital roles within our Tree and Learning teams — from specialist arborists to learning officers — have been supported, directly caring for this extraordinary living collection and strengthening our connection with the community.

Your support has also helped open and enhance spaces that invite people to spend time with nature, from the ExploraTree play area to new seating areas enjoyed daily by families and visitors. Through our Community Grants scheme, supported by fundraising and donations alongside membership, you have helped subsidise transport and refreshments for groups who would otherwise be unable to visit, ensuring this special place remains accessible to all.

Through supporting research and specialist expertise here, you are also contributing to wider conservation efforts. Your membership helps safeguard tree species, share knowledge internationally, and inspire the next generation of environmental stewards. This meaningful work is only possible because of our enduring community of members, strengthened by fundraising and donations.
