A Visit to Cotswold Sculpture Park
Located near Cirencester in the heart of Gloucestershire, Cotswold Sculpture Park offers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary sculpture in a natural, outdoor setting. Set across ten acres of landscaped gardens, woodland, and wildflower meadows, the park displays over 170 sculptures by established and emerging artists. Cotswold Sculpture Park is open to the public from April through September, Thursday to Monday, 10:30am to 5:00pm (last entry at 4:00pm). No advance booking is required. The park is fully self-guided, allowing visitors to explore at their own pace.
The site also hosts a variety of events throughout the season, including regular art classes and performances in its charming stone amphitheatre, which offers an intimate setting for live music, theatre, and other cultural activities. These events contribute to the park’s dynamic atmosphere and offer additional ways to engage with the arts.
For refreshments, visitors can enjoy light food and drinks at the Poppin Tearoom, located on-site. Parking is free, and while much of the terrain is natural and may not be fully wheelchair-accessible, mobility scooters are available for those with limited mobility.
