Footsteps in the snow

Posted: February 10, 2012 at 13:32 pm Author: Gina Mills

Snowfall gives us the opportunity to track animals through the snow. If you're lucky you'll get a glimpse of the wildlife that left the footsteps in the snow, but even if you don't, some of the footprints have a remarkable level of detail.

These photographs, taken today, show a variety of birds and mammals out and about in the snow. Westonbirt is home to a variety of birds, squirrels, rabbits, badgers and deer...

...and of course you can follow the tracks of our human and canine visitors too!
