Based in the charming village of Minchinhampton, Andy's journey to becoming a full-time artist took a significant leap when he was invited to exhibit at the prestigious "StartArt" exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Since then, he has captivated audiences across the UK at major Art Fairs and Exhibitions, and his unique artwork now graces private collections around the globe.

What makes Andy's work so distinctive? His deep connection to the natural world. He's particularly drawn to the vibrant colours, intriguing shapes, and rich textures found in landscapes. But his artistic process is far from traditional. Working from his own photographic studies, Andy meticulously reinterprets these scenes using a digital canvas – his iPad. Imagine thousands upon thousands of tiny coloured triangles, painstakingly hand-drawn to build up incredible detail, depth, and luminous highlights. The final result? Stunning, archival quality, limited edition Giclée prints that truly bring the landscape to life.

As a regular visitor to the arboretum, Andy finds exhibiting his natural landscapes within its breathtaking setting to be a perfect harmony with his artistic vision. This deep connection is evident in his two studies of Westonbirt. One captures the fiery hues of autumn, evoking the arboretum's spectacular seasonal colours. The other offers a more abstract and vibrant interaction of sunlight filtering through the intricate textures of the leaves.
