Explore Autumn with Westonbirt's Curator
This October, we’re delighted to offer members a special opportunity to experience Westonbirt’s glorious autumn colour on a guided tour with the arboretum's Curator, Dan Crowley.
Following the incredible response to our initial ballot, we’re thrilled to share that Dan has generously agreed to host two additional tours, giving more members the chance to enjoy this unique experience.
Tour dates:
Tuesday 14 October at 4.30pm - Ballot now drawn
Wednesday 15 October at 4.30pm
Tuesday 21 October at 4.30pm
Meeting point: Great Oak Hall

Dan will share his expert insights into the collection, highlight seasonal showstoppers, and reveal the care that goes into nurturing our remarkable trees – all at the most dazzling time of year.
To take part, please enter the new ballot by 06 October. Even if you entered the previous ballot, you’ll need to re-enter for these newly released dates. We will be in touch by 08 October to confirm whether you have been successful.
A donation in support of the continued care and conservation of Westonbirt Arboretum is kindly requested from all those entering the ballot. Your generosity helps protect this extraordinary landscape for generations to come.
Terms and Conditions
- The ballot is open exclusively to current members of the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum.
- A donation is kindly requested when entering the ballot; please note that the amount you give (or whether you are able to give) will not affect your chances of success.
- Places will be allocated at random through the ballot draw.
- Places are non-transferable and may only be used by the member drawn.
- We hope to welcome you whatever the weather. The tour will only be cancelled if conditions are considered unsafe or exceptionally adverse.
