Key Date Pre-Booking
Visiting Westonbirt as a member
On essential key dates (which can be found here), you must pre-book a ticket (free to members) and show both your pre-booked ticket and membership card on arrival to be scanned.
At all other times, you must show your membership card or your purchase confirmation email to the Visitor Services Team to be scanned on arrival to Westonbirt in order to gain entry.

Saturday 27 - Monday 29 August 2022, August Bank Holiday
From 03 May 2022 pre-booking is essential on these key dates:
- Bank Holiday weekends (including Saturday 27 – Monday 29 August 2022)
- Autumn (Saturday 01 October - Sunday 13 November)
- Christmas (Saturday 24 December – Monday 02 January)
To visit Westonbirt on essential key dates, visitors, including members of the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum must pre-book a time slot. Time slots go on sale 7 days in advance. As a member, you can book a free time slot using your membership number into the 'membership number' field when booking a time slot or by phoning Forestry England's Customer Relations Team on 0300 068 0400 between Monday-Friday, 0900 – 1700.

You will be required to show both your time slot booking confirmation AND your valid membership card or a purchase confirmation email to gain free entry into the arboretum on key dates. Your membership number/order number will be printed on the time slot booking confirmation and will be cross-checked upon arrival.
Pre-booking is optional on all other dates (except the key dates listed above).
We are implementing change in response to member and customer feedback, to improve visitor flow; and to protect our landscape. The changes will be regularly reviewed by Forestry England and The Friends with the first formal review at the end of June.
