Free will-writing service

Goodwill PartnershipWe’re pleased to offer free will-writing services with The Goodwill Partnership (TGP). Book your at-home visit with a will writing specialist by calling TGP or registering your details. Online calls and phone appointments are also available to suit you. Once you’ve registered your interest, you’ll receive a confirmation email from TGP, and they’ll call you within 3 working days to book your appointment at a time that suits you.

You’ll speak with the same friendly and professional counsellor throughout the whole process. They’ll work with you to capture your wishes and requirements. Your will instructions are then drafted and checked by independent solicitors, regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and The Law Society. A draft of your final will be sent to you to be witnessed and signed along with clear instructions. Once signed, you’ll send this back to TGP so that the will can be attested, meaning that it’s legally binding.

Your free will, provided by the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum, applies to Simple wills only. Complex wills requiring Property Funds or Discretionary Trusts may incur additional costs. Your TGP representative will alert you of any additional complexities up front so that you can make the best choice to suit your circumstances.

Why gifts in Wills are so valuable

Thank you for considering leaving us a gift in your Will. We really appreciate you taking the time to consider supporting us in this way.

As a charity, the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum relies entirely on income from gifts and membership donations.

Our vision is of a long and sustainable future for Westonbirt Arboretum, for the good of the environment and people. If you believe in this vision, one of the greatest contributions you can make is a gift in your Will, protecting the arboretum for generations to come.

We continue to care for over 15,000 trees and 600 acres of woodland. We fund the recruitment and support of over 270 volunteers. We fund developments and activities for over 500,000 visitors each year. We support environmental conservation and programmes to help people experiencing disadvantage to get outdoors.

Remembering the Friends of Westonbirt Arboretum in your Will is the most significant, lasting way you can positively impact the future of Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.
